These terms govern use of the OneNode website and provide general conditions for enquiries, quotations and technology services. A signed proposal, service schedule, statement of work or other written agreement may add to or replace parts of these terms for a particular engagement.
1. Who we are
OneNode (Pty) Ltd is a South African technology services business providing IT support, managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, connectivity, automation, consulting and related services. You can contact OneNode at support@onenode.co.za or +27 68 617 8074.
2. Website information and enquiries
Website content is general information and may change as services develop. Submitting a form, sending a message or requesting an assessment does not by itself create a service agreement or guarantee availability. We confirm scope, timing, responsibilities and pricing in writing before chargeable work begins, except where you clearly authorise immediate ad hoc assistance.
3. Quotations, scope and service agreements
Starting prices and descriptions are intended to help clients choose an appropriate route. Final scope depends on users, devices, risk, complexity, access, third-party systems and response expectations. A quotation remains valid for the period stated in it. Work outside the agreed scope requires further approval and may be billed separately.
4. Support and response expectations
OneNode provides support using the method reasonably suited to the issue, including remote work, onsite work, supplier coordination or a planned project. Response and resolution times are not guaranteed unless they are stated in a written service level agreement. Emergency, after-hours and onsite work remains subject to availability and the agreed rates.
5. Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate information, appropriate access and timely decisions.
- Maintain lawful licences and authority for systems, accounts and data placed in scope.
- Keep suitable backups unless backup management is expressly included.
- Tell us about material risks, deadlines, dependencies and changes that may affect the work.
- Use reasonable security practices and protect credentials supplied or created for the engagement.
6. Third-party products and providers
Hardware, software, licences, connectivity, hosting, cloud platforms and other third-party services remain subject to their own terms, availability and warranties. OneNode may recommend, configure or coordinate them but does not control a third party. Third-party charges are excluded unless included in writing.
7. Prices, VAT and payment
Prices are quoted in South African Rand. OneNode is not registered for VAT, so VAT is not added to OneNode service fees. Payment dates, deposits, recurring charges, approved expenses and any consequences of late payment are stated in the applicable quotation, invoice or service agreement.
8. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Changes or cancellations should be requested as early as possible. Completed work, committed third-party costs and time reasonably reserved or already used remain payable where permitted by law and the applicable agreement. Any refund or credit is assessed against the work delivered, the agreement and applicable consumer law.
9. Confidentiality, privacy and security
Each party should protect confidential information received through an engagement and use it only for the agreed purpose. Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. No technology environment is risk free, and security depends on the agreed scope, client cooperation and third-party systems as well as OneNode controls.
10. Intellectual property
OneNode retains ownership of its pre-existing methods, templates, utilities, know-how and reusable materials. A written agreement will identify any client-specific deliverables and usage rights. Website content, branding and original materials may not be copied or redistributed without permission except where law allows.
11. Warranties and liability
OneNode will perform agreed services with reasonable care and skill. Technology work can be affected by existing faults, unsupported systems, malicious activity, data quality, connectivity and third parties. Liability is determined by the applicable agreement and South African law. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with services, impersonate another person or use OneNode services for unlawful activity. We may restrict access where reasonably needed to protect clients, systems or legal obligations.
13. External links
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. Their content, availability, security and privacy practices are controlled by their respective operators.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these website terms when services, technology or legal duties change. The current version and update date will remain available here. Changes do not rewrite a signed client agreement unless that agreement allows them to do so.
15. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Questions about these terms may be sent to support@onenode.co.za.
